Tours Isle of Man took the decision to join BUSK Benchmark to enable it to provide schools with information in regard to hiring from a safety aware company and to assist in educating school staff, not only of the importance of seat belt wearing, but in having teachers and escorts sitting in the correct seats as this can be crucial in saving lives in an emergency. Thousands of pupils travel on buses on the island each school day without safety belts and many do not have seats resulting in them having to stand for the journey. Our Company believes this has to be discouraged and for parents and teachers to be more aware of the risks.
Tours Isle of Man Limited was first established as Tours Isle of Man in 1983, later becoming ProTours in 2003. The Company began on 1 January 2012 and has always been a family-operated business.
