Wednesday August 09, 2017 BUSK slams Darlington Council for funding Permit 19 Section charities out of public funds and putting children at risk. The Council only ceased contracting the charities after Traffic Commissioner Kevin Rooney made it clear that any organisation operating under a Permit could not be paid.

The Council are now claiming that the Traffic Commissioner's office has told them that there was no breach. If that is the case then why has Darlington Council, only last week, opened the school runs up to the commercial sector to tender for? Read this week's Route One.
